I have comments on 3.4.13 Develop Human Resource Plan in PMBOK 4th Edition.
回覆刪除The outputs of 3.4.13 should be "Human Resource Management Plan" instead of "Human Resource Plan".
The Human Resource Management Plan is the process of identifying and documenting project roles, responsiblities, and require skills set,
reporting relationships, and creating the staffing strategies and staffing management plan.
I had submitted 2 incident tickets on PMBOK 4th Edition to Book Editor, PMI publications:
回覆刪除Incident#1: When click the page number on the page of Table of Contents in the PMBOK 4th edition, it won’t move to the selected page. PMBOK 3rd edition has no such issue.
Incident#2: When click the page number on the page 455~467 of the Index in the PMBOK 4th edition, it won’t move to the selected page. PMBOK 3rd edition has no such issue.

Per the CCR section of the PMP Handbook, kindly allow up to 3 weeks for the claims to be processed and listed on the PDU transcript.
If a duplicate PDU is being logged, candidates will receive an error message at the point of submission of PDUs online.
Once the PDU transcript has been updates, candidates will be able to view the category, no. of PDUs earned, program name and completion and submission dates of the PDUs inputted.
With regards to networking with other PMI credential holders, you may be interested to look at joining some of the local chapters. You may wish to contact them for more updates on their activities. While PMI currently do not offer discounts for membership renewal fees, there are benefits of continuous membership.
PMI has a membership option that allows retired project management practitioners to maintain membership at the discounted rate of $60 per year, instead of the full rate of $119.
In order to be eligible for this the member status must have been in good standing for the last 5 previous years in addition to being fully retired.
A Hardship Provision is available to any PMI member whose financial condition has changed drastically and sufficiently so that a member would have difficulty renewing their membership.
The member must be in good standing for at least three consecutive years to qualify for the hardship provision.
With regards to your feedback on the PMBOK® Guide, we have forwarded your case
to the Standards department.
Kindly allow us to revert to you once we have an update."
Dear Mr. Chen,
回覆刪除I understand your point. Your feedback will be given to the next update team for their review and consideration in the development of the fifth edition of the standard. We appreciate your interest in this important PMI standard.
